Welcome to Twalumbu Cottage!
We want you to have a comfortable and peaceful stay. Please help us take good care of the cottage by following these simple house rules.
- Check-in & Check-out
Please observe the agreed check-in time 15:00 and check-out time 11:00. Early check-in or late check-out should be arranged in advance. - Registered Guests Only
Only registered guests may stay overnight. Please ask us before inviting additional visitors onto the property. - No Parties or Events
Parties, large gatherings and events are not permitted unless agreed with us beforehand. Respect our Christian values. - Quiet Hours
Please keep noise at a reasonable level, particularly in the evening and early morning, out of respect for your neighbors. - No Smoking Indoors
Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage. Please smoke only in the designated outdoor area and dispose of cigarette ends responsibly. - Please Take Care of the Cottage
Treat the cottage, furniture, linen, appliances and other items with care. Please let us know promptly if something is damaged or broken. - Water & Electricity
Please use water and electricity responsibly. Switch off lights, air-conditioning/fans and appliances when they are not needed or when leaving the cottage. - Kitchen
Guests are welcome to use the kitchen. Basic items (Sugar, tea/coffee) are provided—use reasonably. You may find basic additional supplies from the farm shop if needed. Please wash used dishes and leave the kitchen reasonably clean after use. - Bathroom
Guests Be mindful that shower/toilet is separate from the sleeping area. Do not dispose of inappropriate items in drains or toilets - WiFi
Starlink is only available in the Lounge and outside since our extender is not yet placed high enough. Starlink blocks both malware and adult content websites. Please avoid heavy downloads or streaming that affects others. - Children
Children should be supervised by a responsible adult, particularly around outdoor areas and equipment. - Pets
Pets are not allowed because of the dogs on the property. - Security
Please close and possibly lock doors and close windows when leaving the cottage. Keep keys safe and do not give them to anyone who is not part of your booking. Lock gate when it is dark. - Security dogs are on the property
Our dogs can’t enter your private patio. Please stay in that area unless invited.
Please do not feed or provoke them.
6 Dogs patrol the larger property for safety and respond to certain things which make them make noisy during the night. We hope you won’t be troubled too much because of that. - Illegal Activities
Illegal activities/usage of illegal substances are strictly prohibited. - Damages or Missing Items
Guests may be charged for significant damage, breakages or missing items caused during their stay. - Before You Leave
Please leave the cottage reasonably tidy, switch off electrical appliances, close windows and leave the keys as instructed.
